Deus Ex: Human Revolution Review (PC, PS3, XBox 360)

I never personally got around to even play any of the Deus Ex games in the past, and being a first-person shooter guy in many respects (plus a role-playing gamer as well) led me to give the series’ latest entry a spin on my 360 for awhile.  Now that I have, though, all I can say is that Square Enix and the guys at Eidos Montreal deserve a hefty load of respect for turning out a pleasing FPS-plus-role-player experience that’s part Halo, part Gears … [Read more...]

Limbo (PSN) Review

I was one of the unfortunate who never got around to playing Limbo on the XBox Live Arcade.  I'd heard many things about it, and being a huge Braid fan I was told numerous times I would fall in love with Limbo, but for some reason I still never had the opportunity to.  I've always loved Indie titles, and not just to support Independent Developers--which trust me, I do!--but there's something about Indie titles that always piques my … [Read more...]

The July 12 demo will introduce players to the main characters, particularly Vincent and his growing sense of panic at repeatedly finding himself within terror-filled nightmares.  Fans can enjoy … [Read more...]

New Catherine Trailer: Catherine or Katherine?

Atlus released another Catherine trailer today focusing on the two women in the game's crazy love triangle: Catherine and Katherine. The new video highlights the two opposing forces of the love triangle central to the game's unprecedented story.  Vincent, the protagonist, wants nothing more than for things to stay as they are: simple and manageable. Katherine, his girlfriend of five years, wants more--marriage, a family--the whole nine yards.  … [Read more...]

Mortal Kombat Review (PS3/Xbox 360)

Mortal Kombat is the latest game in this almost 20 year old series, created from what seemed to be their final installment. Mortal Kombat strikes back with its time tested fast-paced, bloody beat-downs and gruesome fatalities. … [Read more...]
