9. Don’t get into every little skirmish
Sometimes, it’s better to stand back and see how the plan unfolds. Even though it’s not the most honorable or glamorous of tactics, waiting for someone to screw up and boosting your little magic-powered car straight into the ball provides immense results. Especially in those matches where everyone seems to want to get a taste of the ball.
It proves to be useful for both attack and defense. A poorly coordinated squad can be utterly demolished by someone who just watches from behind, waiting for that perfect moment to capitalize.
However, spending too much time behind the ball-fights can also result in a match lost if done too much.
10. It’s detrimental to just chase the ball
With everything being said so far, chasing the ball is the last thing you want to do.
It proves nothing, besides blindly boosting towards a failed match. It’s not even fun to do so, as anyone can push a button. Chasing a button from end to end won’t cause any significant damage to the enemy, besides some tummies being hurt out of sheer laughter.
When you play online, the best players don’t jump around, trying to catch the ball from the middle of the air, nor do they try to push it, inch by inch, nosing it through the net. Instead, you see them coming out of nowhere with a spectacular save or shot that smashes the enemy team.
