Fallout 4 Walkthrough Guide
Beginning 10 years after the events leading up to the end of Fallout 3, the fourth installment of the series is set in the year 2287. As has come to be expected from the Fallout game franchise, the setting is a post-apocalyptic retro-futuristic one. The player encounters and interacts with steam punk inspired devices – this alone is a good reason to pick up the game.
The new Fallout is set in New England, or what’s left of it, following the Resource War of 2077. The fate of the Commonwealth once again rests on your shoulders. But who are you? The player is one of the few survivors of the war. Taking shelter in Vault 111 during the devastating conflict, you wake up 210 years into the dark future, to a sight of true horror. What was once your family is now gone. You are the only survivor of the whole Vault. Are you prepared for revenge?
Fallout 4 Main Quest Guide. The main quest that takes place in Fallout 4 leads the player out of Vault 111 and into his former town, now a bleak ruin. The quest chain is a wild, emotional rollercoaster, filled with upsets, loss of hope, but also a faint glimmer of optimism. At the end of the base missions, the player gets to choose with whom he will ally: the Institute, the Minutemen, the Brotherhood of Steel, or the Railroad.
Fallout 4 Institute Quest Guide. This quest chain will be made available to the player if he or she chooses to go with the Institute and continue the legacy of their son Shaun (Bethesda loves twists like this).
Fallout 4 Minutemen Quest Guide. This quest line is available only to those players who choose to go with the Minutemen, one of the first factions encountered in Fallout 4.
Fallout 4 Brotherhood of Steel Quest Guide. The third quest line is once again filled with drama. The Brotherhood of Steel will make you one of their own, but will you be able to betray former allies?
Fallout 4 Railroad Quest Guide. The Railroad seems, oddly enough, to be the most humane of factions, in our opinion. We’ll let you be the judge of that.
Depending on the choices of the player up to this point, the Fallout 4 quests can end in four different ways. This can be confusing to some, but once you get in to play, you’ll quickly understand how role that you have can decide the fate of the Commonwealth.

Here are some things you may not have discovered yet:
You can leave the game during conversations. You can also save the game at the same time. This is a very useful tool for when you want to have certain companions like you.
You can ask your companions for thoughts. If at any point you feel uncertain as to what to do next, you can ask your most trusted companions. They’ll give you specific advice as to what they think is right. Needless to say, this will gain you some affinity with the specific partner.
Boost leveling with Knight Rhys and Scribe Haylen. Are you having difficulties progressing through the main quest? Try some Brotherhood of Steel Fallout 4 side quests from Rhys and Haylen. This will also upgrade some of your skills.
