Fallout 4 Companion List
Companions have always been player-favorites in all video games. Fallout 4 companions make no exception. With its odd bunch of weirdos, this game takes the idea of leveling buddies to a whole new level:
Codsworth is your personal robot. Left abandoned when you and your family went off to Vault 111, you find him wandering distraughtly among the ruins of Sanctuary Hills.
Nick Valentine is a synth. You find him in Diamond City where he runs his very own detective agency. He’s an interesting companion to have and may prove very useful in certain combat situations.
Piper is a journalist. Unskilled in battle, this companion is very skilled in winning the hearts of her readers and of her players. Click the link above to find out how to earn max affinity with this companion.
Hancock. A sentient ghoul and the mayor of the town Goodneighbor. Need I say more?
Dogmeat. Everyone’s favorite lovable mut. You can see it in the picture above.
Preston Gavey is the Minutemen’s leader. His very own band of not-so-merry men is dedicated to vigilante work across the New England territory.
Strong. The name says it all. This Shakespeare-loving super-mutant can handle a fight with ease.
Paladin Dense. With a weird ID tag that sounds made up, this companion represents the Brotherhood of Steel. Picking him up means joining that organization.
Deacon. This one’s the leader of the Railroad. A sneaky companion, he’s great for those of you who like the more stealthy side of Fallout 4.
Curie. Ever wanted a version of Codsworth that’s feminine, can do a decent French accent, and also provide great support in combat? Curie is the one for you. Go to the companion list to find out how to get her!
Cait. A feisty Irish fighter. Cait can be extremely good during combat and may provide very enjoyable companionship to many.
MacCready is a scavenger who is looking for the cure to a disease. He will prove a particularly able companion when it comes to shooting things from a distance (he’s a sniper).
X6-88 is the Institute’s primary enforcer. Needless to say, he will only be unlocked for players that choose to side with the Institute.
