Fallout 4 Items Guide
The items in Fallout 4 are quirky, fun, and incredibly hard to obtain (when you’re looking for something specific). We’ve made a complete guide to Fallout 4 weapons, Fallout 4 armor, and Fallout 4 crafting. To see that version, click on the heading above.
Fallout 4 Weapons Guide
Here’s a rundown of the coolest, most sought-after Fallout 4 weapons. For guides on how to find these weapons and more, click the link above.
Junk Jet. This one will let you fire up all the junk in your inventory. Sounds like fun? It is!
Furious Power Fist. Basically, a big metal fist which increases its damage the more you hit an enemy.
Big Boy. A nuke launcher that shoots two nukes at the same time.
Shem Drowne Sword. A radiation-filled sword which can make a trusty companion at lower levels.
Rockville Slugger. A brutal bat with seven thousand needles in it. Pro tip: give to Strong.
Partystarter. Have it in for the humans in Fallout 4? The Partystarter missile launcher does extra damage against them!
Fallout 4 Armor and Power Armor
Ever wanted to obtain a full set of power armor? That would be amazing! However, here are some tips as you might want to take into account before you begin:
Don’t waste time trying to do this from the start. Power armors are extremely needy – fusion cores are not easy to come by and will probably get depleted as fast as you can say “power armor suit.”
Save up on fusion cores. That being said, you should get the suit at the beginning, but only use it in dire situations or when you’ve stocked up on cores so that you never run out of fuel.
Modding the power armor. In each town, you’ll find a workshop where your suit can be either repaired or modified. Remember that you need a lot of materials in order to efficiently upgrade your power armor suit.
Fallout 4 Crafting
Crafting in Fallout 4 is once again masterfully done. Would you expect any less from a top notch Bethesda game? Using the same workshop which you used to enhance your power armor, you can modify your weapons so that they become the ultimate tool of destruction. Personal options include changing the damage type, changing the mag, changing the barrel, the stocks, the sight, or the muzzle. As with other Bethesda games, you can even rename your weapon and give it a memorable pseudonym.
Fallout 4 Tips and Tricks
We’ve already discussed a few tips related to the story element of the game. Here are some other Fallout 4 tips and tricks about the items in the game:
You can equip power armor on your NPCs. Not only that but any type of item that you can use can be also used by any friendly NPC in the game.
You can build a bell tower. Use the workshop to make a bell tower. Place it in the middle of your settlement. Ring the bell, sit on a chair next to it, and experience what it means to be a king!
Use guns and armor you don’t need for scrap. Sure it may weigh heavily in your inventory, but once you scrap it you’ll have materials for those much-needed upgrades.
Tag the pieces you need for your armor. This one is easy! When in the workshop screen you can tag all of your missing components so that they’ll pop up on your map later on.
