Best Performance
3. Camilla Luddington as Lara Croft
Camilla Luddington’s performance as Lara Croft in Rise of the Tomb Raider was absolutely riveting. For this, we also have to thank Rhianna Pratchett for her amazing writing.
You probably know Camilla L. from Grey’s Anatomy, she played Dr. Jo Wilson.
2. Viva Seifert as Hannah Smith
Viva Seifert’s portrayal of victim/killer as Hannah Smith in Her Story was powerful, and maintained an eerie foreboding vibe throughout the whole game.
Is she the killer? Is she the victim? Maybe she doesn’t know anything about what happened to her husband.
Truth be told, I’ve developed a crush on Viva Seifert and, from time to time, I still go back to the game just to interrogate her.
Doesn’t matter that she may, or may not have killed her husband, her life-story is mind boggling.
1. Doug Cockle as Geralt
Yet, even though Camilla L. and Viva S. managed to wrap our hearts around their beautiful acting, Doug Cockle swoon us off of our feet with his amazing gritty and scruff Geralt.
Delivery is flawless, intonation made us feel like the witcher was whispering in our ear, and, to be frank, we can surely listen to Geralt talk for hours and hours about anything – from how a knot should be tied, to why when the sun sets beasts go on a killing spree.
