Resident Evil Revelations 2 Raid Mode Walkthrough

I: Medallions

There are 5 medallions which you can earn during every stage in Resident Evil Revelations 2. I didn’t even noticed them at first. Here are the 5 medallions: Completion, Challenge, Genocide, No Herb, and Clear.

  • Completion – You’ll get it after earning all of the four medallions below.
  • Challenge – You’ll get it when you complete a stage at a recommended level, or below it. It’s quite a challenge, believe-you me.
  • Genocide – Staying somewhat true to the definition of the word, you’ll earn this medallion if you eradicate all of your enemies in a stage. Sounds easy to do, but it’s way harder than that.
  • No Herb – As it implies, you’ll earn it after completing a stage without using herbs.
  • Clear – This one is the easiest of them all. You earn the Clear medallion after you clear a stage.

No, they’re not just for showing off, or bragging to friends. They actually give you something in return if you earn them. When you get a set number of medals, you’ll unlock other characters that will be available to play with in Raid Mode.

The higher the medallion count is, the more stuff you unlock – like more stages, gauntlets, and so on. If you want to see everything that Resident Evil Revelations 2 has to offer, you’ll want as many medallions as you can get.

Here’s a list with what Characters you can unlock with medallions, and what you can unlock simply by playing the game, or buying DLCs.

About Andrew Christian

Christian has been gaming ever since his parents bought his first PC. His earliest gaming memory goes back more than 15 years ago, a moment in time that he acknowledges to be the starting point in mastering Street Fighter. As a blogger, he is very enthusiastic about every release he writes about, hoping readers will benefit from his gaming experience. Concerning the games he enjoys playing the most, he looks for good realism more than for special effects. Apart from video games, he loves strategy board games as well, such as Risk, Diplomacy, Game of Thrones and The Settlers of Catan.
